Patna is a city and a municipality in Patna district in the Indian state of Bihar. Patna is the capital of the state of Bihar. Seventeen doctors from Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) in Patna tested positive after receiving their report on January 1.
All the doctors who did the positive test attended the annual meeting of the Indian Medical Association on December 28 in Patna. NMCH officials confirmed the presence of corona infection in the antigen test of 17 physicians, after which all physicians underwent RT-PCR testing. The RT-PCR report has not yet been received.
Govt-19 cases in Bihar Corona virus cases have been on the rise in the state capital for the past one week in Bihar. In the last 24 hours, 281 new cases were reported in Bihar on December 31, while the number of corona virus cases has risen sharply. As on December 31, 136 cases were registered in Patna, 70 in Gaya and 10 in Munger.
On December 25, four affected cases were reported in Patna, bringing the total number of patients to 55. On January 1, a total of 136 new cases of infections were reported and the number of patients increased to 405.Currently, the number of infected patients in Bihar is 749 and the recovery rate of corona virus patients in the state is 98.23 per cent.
